Purity: > 90% by SDS-PAGE, apparent Mr ~ 65-kDa.
Supplied: 1 μg in 50 μl of 50 mM Tis-HCl pH 7.0 buffer containing 0.1 mM phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride, 14 mM β-mercaptoethanol, 1 mM EDTA and 50% glycerol. Maintain in aliquots at -70°C. Avoid repeated thawing.

Background: The A(Glu416) subunit of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) contains a mutation in a basic motif that is important for the interaction of the A and catalytic C subunits of the phosphatase. GloboZymes A(Glu416) preparations can be used in reconstitution studies to further delineate the functional significance of the A subunit and its basic motif.
